William Morris Designs
William Morris (24 March 1834 – 3 October 1896) was a British textile designer, poet, novelist, translator, and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement. He was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. The first textile designs Morris made were created in the 1860s. and were for embroideries, In the late 1860s Morris began to experiment with a genre, textiles for furnishing or upholstery. Morris made his first experiments with printed textiles in 1868. We have printed some of his famous works on textile madeups such as tea towels, aprons, cushion covers, napkins.
